Irish dancer Siobhan O’Sullivan has reeled in a top championship title in the Emerald Isle.
She wowed judges at the recent Cumann Rince Naisiunta (CRN) Irish Open in Dublin to earn three sets of full marks and win the Ard Grad under 19 award.
Nineteen-year-old Siobhan, of Llanstadwell, started Irish dancing when she was eight with the late Julie Hynes in Saundersfoot, going on to take over the running of the dancing school until last year.
The former Sir Thomas Picton School pupil is now studying for a BA in Irish Music and Dance at the University of Limerick, with her performing opportunities during the year including dancing for folk legends The Chieftains.
Siobhan, who travels regularly from Limerick to Dublin for lessons with her new dancing teacher, Tina Rothwell, is looking forward to returning home to Pembrokeshire for the summer when she will be singing with the Three Counties Choir and playing viola in the Three Counties Orchestra.
