FLOOR-shaking electronic night Substantial Sound returns from hiatus with a full and fun line-up of breaks, house, jungle and drum and bass this weekend.
Fresh from Festival No 6, DJ and producer Kiwi Funk will get the party started pumping out old-skool vibes on the sublime sound system, upgraded for this event with a set of even more powerful subwoofers.
DJ Escher is a lifelong fan of electronic music, and has played alongside some of the giants of the DJing scene, such as Lisa Lashes, Dave Pearce, Slipmatt, BK, Anne Savage and many more.
"Pinning down my style is hard, my mantra is that a good tune is a good tune, regardless of age or genre," he said.
Headlining is MBS, who has been DJing jungle and techno since 1992 and has been producing since 2008 with releases on a Greek label called Audio Theory and their sister lable Evil Audio .
He has released records on the UK labels Boomsha Recordings and KingTing Records.
Rounding off the evening will be co-organiser Him Again, who will keep the beats rolling until 3am.
Substantial Sound starts at 10pm this Friday, September 9, at El Rio, Quay Street, Haverfordwest. Entry is £4.
