To Nicola's husband, parents, sister and extended family, I would like to offer my condolences. We were friends on Facebook, although the last time we actually spoke to each other was over 26 years ago when we were both in the Sixth Form at Pembroke Comprehensive. The first time I met Nicki was September 1987. Although we both came from different Junior Schools, we were both put into 1K, our form group and we hit it off straight away. We would sit together for Science in our first year and also in our GCSE group for Dual Science. I remember Nicki as always being the tallest out of all us girls in the class. She was smart, bubbly and a great friend to have and be with. Although we haven't spoke in person since school, thank god to Facebook we reconnected and I'm proud to say she hasn't changed a bit. While at school she always expressed an interest in being a school teacher and I am so glad that she was able to achieve her dream. I remember back to November 1987, when I was so chuffed that my 'New Friend' had invited me to go with her and her parents and sister for a meal. It was for her 12th birthday. Then there was the time in Science we discovered that we both got the magazine collection called 'Discovery' and rather than pay attention to the teacher we were talking about the collection.

These may seem like little moments but ones that I will always treasure of being with Nicki. It brings tears to my eyes to read of Nicki's passing, for I never thought I would read of her passing so young. I am so sorry for your loss but remember that although she is not here with you now in person, she will always be by your side in spirit and she will be in all of our hearts.

RIP Nicki. Miss you so much already ****

From your dear friend Caroline (Caz) Williams
