Gordon Edward Davies Chartered Architect Callans Drive, Pembroke Gordon passed away peacefully at Withybush Hospital, aged 81 after suffering ill health over the last few years. Born in Port Talbot Gordon attended Glan Afon Grammar School before studying architecture at Cardiff University, graduating with a first class honours degree. In 1969, after getting married Gordon and his wife, Chris moved to Pembroke where he soon became a was a very well known and popular local businessman and lecturer. In his spare time Gordon was a keen sportsman and enjoyed playing golf, squash and rugby in his younger years. Gordon was also a very talented water colour artist and his family and friends treasure his wonderful paintings of Pembrokeshire. He loved to travel and liked nothing more than organising family holidays, his particular favourites being Florida and Australia. Gordon leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Chris and three sons Andrew, Peter and Paul and one grandson, Lewis. Due to COVID restrictions the funeral service will take place privately at Parc Gwyn Crematorium on Thursday 4th. February but friends are more than welcome to stand outside Gordon's home prior to the Cortdeparting to pay their respects.
