URWIN Claire died peacefully at home in Dinas Cross, Pembrokeshire on 5th February 2021, aged 85. Her husband Len was with her. She left sons Conrad and Marius and grandchildren Kester, Kai, Tatyana and Yelena. Born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Claire grew up in Enfield and then Newbury, before starting her first job as a medical laboratory technician with the MRC at Harwell, where she met Len. After raising their two sons in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, the couple have enjoyed the last thirty-two years on their smallholding at Fron Isaf.
