Mr. Michael Thomas Scourfield Sageston The death occurred tragically at his home on Saturday 12th. June of Mr. Michael Scourfield of Sageston. He was 55 and will be hugely missed by all his family and very many friends. The funeral will take place on Friday 9th. July with a service at St. Mary's Church, Carew at 1.00.pm followed by a private cremation. Due to the current restrictions, the service in Church can only be for members of the family and their guests but people are invited to stand within the Churchyard and the service will be relayed outside. In addition, for those wishing to pay their respects to Michael, the cortege will leave his home at 12.30.pm travelling through the village and passing Carew Cricket Club before making it's way to the Church. Michael was very traditional in many ways and his family would be very grateful if those attending wore traditional black clothing. Family flowers only please but if desired, donations in lieu for Diabetes UK and Sandy Bear Children's Bereavement Charity may be sent to John Roberts & Son, Funeral Directors, 51, Bush Street, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6AN, Tel. 01646 683115, who are carrying out the arrangements.
