Mr. John Griffith Edwards Neyland The death occurred suddenly but peacefully at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 of Mr. John Griffith Edwards, aged 87 years of Great Eastern Terrace, Neyland. John was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Jean, family, and many friends. The funeral service will take place on Friday 1st April at 11.00am at his home followed by interment at Honeyborough Cemetery, Neyland. The cortege at approximately 11.15am will leave from 12 Great Eastern Terrace, travelling up Neyland Hill turning right into Cambrian Road and passing the Rugby and Cricket grounds before making its way via John Street to Neyland cemetery. Sign in to add a tributeI was saddened to learn of John‘s passing earlier this week. In the 1960’s I learned to sail with John and we shared many adventures on the Cleddau in his GP 14. I had great respect for John and when I moved overseas I always appreciated the way he “kept an eye” on my parents when they moved down to Oak Villa. John was a well respected Neyland personality and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Please accept my condolences to you and the family.
