STEVE TAYLOR "With Great Sadness" Stephen George Taylor of Dinas Cross, (Proprietor of Mercury Garage), and formerly of Stockport. Passed away at home on 24th October 2022. Much loved partner and best friend to Jenny Parker, Steve will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. A cremation service will be held at Parc Gwyn Crematorium, Narberth, SA67 8UB, Tuesday 8th November at 1.00pm. Followed by a gathering at Yr-hen-Ysgol, Dinas Cross from 2:45pm, Informal dress, or as you feel appropriate to celebrate Steve's life. Family flowers only. Donations to Paul Satori Hospice at home, Haverfordwest SA61 1RP, or via Paul Jenkins and Sons, Funeral Directors, Feidr Castell, Fishguard, SA65 9BB

I remember Steve from the Sixties when we used to hang out on the old RAF camp in Heald Green then later at secondary school, Moseley Hall in Cheadle, Cheshire and further into "adulthood".
Steve was a great guy whose company I always enjoyed with his interesting take on all things, from engines via engineering to wide-ranging social commentary and politics that seemed to me to come from his alert and interested personality.
I will always smile at the memories of our time together when, as a teenager, I regularly donated Redex for his moped when I worked in a petrol station, which was a typical scenario.
