A MILFORD Haven School pupil spent the day shadowing Preseli-Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies recently.
Megan was one of a number of girls taking part in the scheme, organised by Chwarae Teg, which gives young women opportunities to question Assembly Members, take part in a debate and undertake a tour of the Senedd.
Chwarae Teg is hoping to see more women becoming involved in politics and democracy and feels that this day will allow young people opportunities for their voices to be heard by key players in the Welsh Assembly.
Mr Davies said: "I enjoyed spending time with Megan and learnt more about her keen interest in politics.
"It was great to see that Chwarae Teg had teamed Assembly Members up with local students who live in the areas they represent.
"The event was extremely successful and I look forward to keeping in touch with Megan and following her progress in the future."
