PEMBROKESHIRE Harriers' Lauren Bell produced a stunning performance in the under-15s 800 metres at the recent Welsh indoor championships.
She ran a personal best time of two minutes 20.67 seconds at the National Indoor Athletics Centre in Cardiff to claim the Welsh title.
As a result of her achievement she has now been selected to represent Welsh Schools at the under-16s Celtic schools international on Sunday, February 3rd.
Lauren will meet up with her teammates on the Saturday in Cardiff, where she will be presented with her first Welsh vest, before competing against Scotland and Ireland the following day.
Lauren is grateful to Pete Freeman for all his hard work coaching the Pembrokeshire Harriers and also her team-mates who push her so hard in training.
