Prendergast Villa 0 Merlins Bridge 4
MERLINS Bridge proved too strong for struggling second from bottom Prendergast Villa.
The Wizards are currently nine points clear at the top of the summit with just five games of the season remaining.
The hosts' cause wasn't helped when they were reduced to ten-men early on after Tom Wilks was sent-off by referee Steve Evans for a second bookable offence.
The visitors got their tails in front when Brett Shakir bundled the ball over the line with barely 15 minutes on the clock.
However, the Wizards had to wait until the 55th minute before they grabbed their second in this derby tussle, defender Wayne O'Sullivan powerfully heading home a free kick into the box.
On the hour mark and the league's top goal poacher Stephen McNabney made no mistake from inside the box for the third.
With just ten minutes remaining and super-sub Ade Smith swivelled inside the box and neatly volleyed past Ben Henton to complete the scoring.
