A former soldier who was made subject of a sexual harm prevention order after a sexual video and photos of young girls were found in his possession, has been given a final chance by the court.
Owen Davies of Pennant Avenue, Saundersfoot appeared at Swansea Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday, October 3.
The 26-year-old had originally been sentenced by Swansea Crown Court on September 15, 2022 for to two charges of possessing indecent Category B and C images of a child.
As a part of this the former soldier was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order (SHPO) to check and restrain his online activity.
On August 26 this year, in Saundersfoot, Davies breached the SHPO by using an application which deletes internet history.
He admitted the offence at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Tuesday September 17 and the case was sent to crown court for sentencing.
Davies was given an eight-month prison sentence, suspended for a year. He was also ordered to undertake 25 days of rehabilitation activity and 150 hours of unpaid work. Davies must also pay a £187 surcharge.
