I have been saddened by the news of the explosion on Chevron oil refinery which killed four people and seriously injured another.

I am a Hubberston (Haven Drive) born lad now living in Australia and just want to send my deep condolences to the families of the deceased, two of whom I knew personally, Robert and Denny.

If possible could you please add this message to your newspaper in the hope the families will know that no matter where ex-Milfordians are in the world, our sorrow regarding the tradgedy still hits us across the other side of the world.

My heartfelt sadness goes out to the families and hopefully they will get some comfort knowing they will be sadly missed but never forgotten. Even over here in Oz.
