Having read recent comments about waste food I felt I had to reply.

We have a small country pub and on our menu we state that children can have the same as adults but child size.

We have taken on board what was said and will be putting on our menus a piece saying if you don’t want a large meal ask the staff for what you want.

At the end of the day we would rather have less waste as it is expensive to get rid of the waste just as it is expensive to buy the product in the first place.
