Dear editor I wonder if you could help me? My 75-year-old lorry driving uncle was filmed in approx 1988 leaving Milford Haven docks in his HGV lorry, laden with fish destined for the Fleetwood fish market. The TV programme that was being made was about trawlers and them being out at sea, landing their catch etc.
The vessel, he presumes, was an old black-hulled trawler called the Anguilla, which was registered with the last remaining trawler agent in Milford Haven called Norrad. He was contracted through MARRS to deliver the fish.
He remembers them filming the deckhands loading up his fridge trailer on the quayside and then on the weighbridge, him getting weighed, just before turning right out of the docks climbing up the big hill on his way home.
Perhaps some of your readers may be able to point me in the right direction of the TV company or the name of the programme to help me find this vivid piece of film? It would be of enormous help to me, and my ageing uncle.
