Dear Editor, I’M pleased to alert readers to a new Red Cross charity shop based in Bridge Street, Haverfordwest.
It’s the first time the Red Cross has opened a new shop in Haverfordwest – we have had one in Milford Haven for a number of years as well as one in Tenby. So this new enterprise will give excellent and competitive ranges of items from clothing to quality furniture.
I have visited the store and met the manageress Amie Wright and her assistant Karen showed me around the premises which include a large storeroom upstairs.
They are looking for volunteers to help out, if you can spare some time to assist in the shop contact Amie on 01437 763315.
I will be picking daffodils this spring for both the Milford Haven and Haverfordwest shops so there will be flowers for sale to help raise funds.
