Dear Editor, I AM amazed at the so-called influencers and decisionmakers of the Welsh Government who can decide to withdraw all help toward the much-needed resource of the Town Rider.
This is done without any proper consultation with the people of Pembrokeshire and the very people who use and depend on the facility.
It is not an understatement to say that this could make any social interactivity practically impossible for some of our elderly residents.
Once again the elderly are being treated just as a drain on resources.
Instead, Cardiff should be looking at ways to enrich our elderly people’s lives, not restrict their quality of life.
I have signed the e-petition and I urge many more to do the same.
