THE Vicar of Milford Haven, Fr Harri Williams, is launching a new 'Friends' group, dedicated to supporting St Katharine and St Peter's Church.
The role of the Friends will be to unite all those throughout the town, the county and across the world who wish to be associated with the life of the Church in Milford Haven.
It is hoped that the Friends through subscriptions and fundraising events will be able to support the maintenance of the fabric of this 200 year old, Grade II listed building.
The Launch of the Friends will be held over the coming weekend beginning on Friday evening at 7pm when there will be Choral Evensong attended by the Bishop of St Davids. Following this there will be a reception and the Friends will be officially launched.
On Saturday evening at 7.30pm, 'Tempus' Choir under the direction of Mr Seimon Morris will be performing a concert in the Church (£7.50 per ticket to include refreshments) and on Sunday there will be a Festival Mass at 10am with guest preacher, Fr Philip Corbett, the Vicar of St Stephen's Lewisham.
Everyone is welcome to attend any of these events and if you wish to know more about the Friends or are interested in joining please contact Fr Harri on 01646 692476 or pop into Church to pick up a leaflet.
