STUDENTS at Milford Haven Junior School will soon be enjoying some new headphones when they study, thanks to Tesco Milford Haven.
The store recently held a fundraising day on behalf off the school, with customers donating £200 to the cause.
Tesco staff then very generously dipped into their pockets to make a final total of £250.
To support this kind gesture, teacher Sonja Groves arranged for her year six class to sing a selection of songs inside the store while the fundraising was taking place.
Headteacher Lyn Rees said: "I would like to thank everyone who donated money to the school and Tesco Milford Haven for organising the fundraising."
Tesco Champion, Debbie Mills and her colleague Julie Hughes, visited Milford Haven Junior School during a Friday afternoon’s singing practice session. They were delighted to listen to the children practising a variety of school songs and presented a cheque for £250 to a grateful Mr Rees.
