Captain's day JOHN Price held his club captain's day which was attended by over 150 players from all sections of the club and included Johns guests.
The day was blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine and the course was in excellent condition with the greens true and quick.
John also thanked everyone for turning up to play which had the largest captain's day field for many years.
John was assisted by his daughter Emma to carry out the presentation.

The evening ended with excellent entertainment provided by singer guitarist Dave Williams.
The following day the captain returned to the club to present the junior prizes in his captains day which was played on the Sunday morning to the following players.

On Saturday, July 27 the club will be holding a Centenary Open Day for teams of three with the best two stableford scores counting on all holes. Entry per team will be £15.
Hackin Smith Salvers LAST Sunday, the mixed competition for the Hackin Smith Salvers was played in glorious sunshine; the winners were John and Jackie Skelhorn who will represent the club in 2014 National Ping Competition.
1, John and Jackie Skelhorn gross 80 nett 66 2, Liam Eva and Keri Broome gross 77 nett 67 3, David and Mary Christopher gross 83 nett 67.2 The only two of the day was by Phil Harling and Karen Lewis.
Ladies LAST Tuesday the ladies played their weekly stableford competition.
Results 1, Ruth Morgan 38 points 2, Liz Durward 36 points The twos kitty was won by captain Karen Pullen, she also carried out the presentation.
The next competition will be played this Sunday, when they play for the Norah Smith Salvers teeing off at 11am.
Seniors LAST Tuesday 22 senior players played a stableford competition with the course in excellent condition.
The competition was won by John Sanderson with 40 points and in doing so had his handicap reduced by one shot.
Results 1, John Sanderson 40 points 2, Mike Durward 39 points 3, Peter Ryder 36 points Dom Giannuzzi and Mike Durward struck the only twos.
Vice Captain Martyn Price carried out the presntation.
Today (Thursday) the seniors will be holding a stableford competition for the Vince Evans Trophy which will also be a qualifier for Colin Reynolds points. The first draw will be at 10.30am Best wishes to club Seniors A team who will play Morriston Golf Club in the quarter finals of the South Wales Seniors Classic Cup this Friday. The match will be played at Glynhir Golf Club.

Tigers THE Tigers next league match will be this Sunday, when they entertain Ashburnham Golf Club.
Daily Mail Foursomes CONGRATULATIONS to Shaun Dyson and Matthew Humphreys who won their fifth round match in the Daily Mail Foursomes by beating a pair from Swansea Bay Golf Club at the club last Wednesday.
It was all square at the 18th and the Milford pair then won the extra hole by a single shot to go through to the draw for the last 64 pairs.
IMS Golf Tournament LAST Wednesday the club as part of their centenary celebrations hosted the Individual Membership Scheme golf tournament.
The Members of the IMS was welcomed to the club by former club captain Mike Durward who along with Richard carried out the presentation to the following winners.
