THE annual Air Ambulance Open angling competition will be held on Sunday, January 19, at Amroth beach.
This popular competition has been running for 12 years and will be organised by the Pembroke and District, Haven Angling Group, Neyland, Osprey SAC and Wales Match Anglers. Book in at 10am at the Amroth Arms and the competition will start at noon until 4pm. First prize is worth £200 plus many other prizes for heaviest bag (flounder only); the scales will close at 4.30pm.
Entry costs £5 plus £1 pool for heaviest flounder also team of two pools, £2 per angler, both to weigh in. A grand raffle will be held on the day with many prizes.
Fishing is between markers only. No rod stands on beach, except stewards, until the angler is booked in. The committee reserve the right to refuse entry and in disputes, their decision will be final.
