Johnston 9
Saundersfoot Sports 0
JOHNSTON ran riot by knocking in nine goals without reply against sorry Saundersfoot Sports.
Due to the bad weather this game was moved from the Glebelands Ground to Hillcroft and it was the home side who settled quicker. Steven Dockerty opened the scoring with wicked left-foot drive. Midway through the first half and Joe John found the back of the net for his side’s second. Left back Steve Mills added the third, a solo effort that started from half way before he unleashed a 25 yard drive.
The game was held up as Tigers’ midfielder Ben Skudder, who picked up a nasty injury, and was taken to hospital with a dislocated knee.
The second half saw the visitors take total control with deadly striker Nicky Woodrow grabbing four goals and both Dockerty and John added a second goal each as the Tigers won for the sixth time this season and stay sixth in the table as Sports uncomfortably sit third from bottom.
